  • Connected to the community, we’re part of our very unique, diverse, cultural, ethnic and social Aotearoa New Zealand.

Our purpose is to create, and achieve better community outcomes.

Community outcomes are the outcomes we aim to achieve in order to promote the social, economic, environmental and cultural wellbeing of our community, our tamariki, rangatahi, and treasured kaumatua.

We achieve this by embracing, encouraging, guiding and showing people opportunities.

About

  • We’re a local born and bred 50% Maori (G.I. Joe)/50% Pakeha (Onehunga Lara) company, and we’re proud of it! If we were a Whittaker’s Classic Chocloate Block, we’d definitely be the “Dark Block” - 50% Dark and 50% Creamy Milk. We’re about doing good mahi in our Maungakiekie-Tamaki Community. We’re a diverse, inclusive, open, and culturally respectful tribe of youth and wisdom. We’re a bit different. And we like chocolate.

  • As a Maori business, we’re part of the 8% target, ready to engage, connect and partner with over 150 mandated Aotearoa New Zealand government agencies and other entities that are seeking to implement the Progressive Procurement Policy. We think we’re the Progressive “Dark Block” ready, willing and so able to mow, mahi, and make whare’s and communities beautiful.

  • Our why is driven by our purpose. Our purpose is our punga. Our punga is our values. Our values are Health, Whanau, Freedom, Aroha and Happiness. It’s our strength, stability, and security. Solid values we spread and share in our communities.

It’s cool to Korero
